The Play area is done!

Ah, the work in the back yard never ends...  My wonderful Mother-in-law and Father-in-law are truly amazing and have given us a wonderful garden to tend this summer!  Thank you!

 The workers!!!

So left to my own thoughts, I always have projects running through my head...this one was suppose to be a weekend ordeal...yeah, right...I guess we tend to get into more than we think...I guess I did not take into account leveling and "plumbing??" out the stakes...oops!

What?  No relaxing time!  Come on!
You know you have true friends when you say, hey, I just got 10 cubic yards of mulch delivered...wanna come over?  I am so lucky that these fine ladies are willing to help!!!  THANK YOU!!!

Finally enjoying the play area!  http://youtu.be/zbofPo555F4

Ahh the sounds of an infant...

I can not believe that almost 3 months ago this little one entered into our lives.  She is growing so fast- I wish time would slow down so I could remember every minute.  I find myself staring at her and saying to myself, "remember this as it will change too quickly"

Maddie's Voice  It is a long video, but is worth the few minutes to hear her voice!

Scotland!

So, on a Friday night all alone with sleeping munchkins, I find myself finally able to upload my husband's pictures from his most recent trip in Scotland.  What a great opportunity to see a beautiful country with family and celebrate a certain someone's 35 birthday.

I do love my husband dearly, but I have to say the last few words we spoke were, "take pictures of people, babe-- not just fairways..."  To say the least, of the 101 pictures he took, barely 10 have pictures with people in them...I'll spare you the majority and share only the ones I liked...Now as my husband is enjoying yet another outing tonight-- (haha, it is raining on your Red Sox game!) I have zero commentary for most of these pictures as I have no clue where they are taken or their importance...Enjoy the views!

 Happy Birthday Chris!

This to me was just a perfect picture of Dad, pushing his cart off into the wild blue yonder...it almost looks as if the course goes on forever!
The entire crew! All six guys!  From what I have heard, every morning it was up for breakfast by 6:30 and then off to golf.  For those of you who know my husband, the only thing that will get him out of bed before 6 am is golf!

 Ah, the dreaded sand pit...

My husband playing photographer extraordinaire-- I didn't think he had this abstract photographer eye...
Still only 5 guys....sorry Sara- I agree, if there were 6 ladies, we would have gotten all 6 in the picture some how!  Perhaps my infamous balancing the camera on something and use the timer!
Really?  Are directions truly necessary on a golf course?

Again, no idea where this might be-- I have a feeling it is Turnberry?  But nice light house Jay!

A Playdate with friends...

There is nothing like returning home to a good friend of many years-- no matter how long it has been since you have talked, they are always there.  A true friend...thank you and I cherish our friendship!

A rainy day of dress up-- hello princess and Alice in wonderland!
Sam didn't want to partake- but did want to share with us his BIG boy pants!!!  Way to go buddy!

Can you say mini crush?

Memorial Day weekend with the Brinks!

Ahhh a weekend Memorial Day BBQ with the Brinks...it brings back great memories-- Pete, where are the mini bikes?!?!?

The deep political debates that many shy away from...

 Someone found a buddy!!!

Birthday Weekend at Oma Sue and Goomba's house!

Ahh, the birthday continues...Dad teaching Riley how to jump!!!  Watch out!  It is a big ledge!

Riley learning to feed Hover at Oma Sue's Pond...

The best way to wake up in the morning- breakfast outside and then off to feed Hover and baby Hover...
 Dad- That water is COLD!!!
 Presents, Presents, Presents...

I love the rain jacket!  Thanks Leadbetter Family!
Someone was a little reluctant to put on the new birthday hat...perhaps 3 would be more comfortable?
Go Riley!!  Happy Birthday baseball cupcakes!  Thanks Oma Sue and Goomba for a great celebration!
