A lazy Sunday afternoon...

After a crazy weekend last weekend, we enjoyed a lazy Sunday afternoon.  It was a perfect day to just relax with the kids and enjoy their entertainment.  We played with playdo, painted pumpkins, and watch some good old fashion movies!  It was perfect!
We even got a little fashion show!  With a little persuasion from Dad, Riley opted for the skunk outfit for Halloween and not the fairy outfit-- we figured this is our last year in control of this one!  So why not have it be a little sarcastic?  Love the heart that says "little stinker!"  We've even got her saying "PEE-EWW"!  Are we bad parents???

Big wedding day!

Ah, the big day and all the planning is done!!!  Time to toast to the bride and groom!

All the preparations falling in place...even a special visit from a Grandma...I am quite confident we made her day!

On our way to the ceremony....
Yes, there were a few of us who made sure the complimentary bottle of champagne was not wasted!!!

What a great night of dancing and celebrating!!!  Well worth all the planning and organizing!

Pumpkin hunting and a trip to the zoo!

October brought with it beautiful weather and a very special day off to spend with Dad....What did we do?

Someone hunted for the perfect pumpkin...we've got two.  Both of them sit on our front step outside and every morning Riley reminds me on our way out that her's is the little one and Daddy's is the big one!

The day off also made it possible to see my Dad!  He was kind enough to come on up and share his fabulous steaks and bunk in the family room...we are lucky that he travels with a bed!

This special occasion led us to the Roger Williams Zoo...I had never been before-- it was a hot and steamy October day!  But Goomba was a huge help!

Hi guys!!!  Dad got a little special Riley time and Goomba spoiled Maddie rotten!

Take a look at that giraffe!!!  COOL!

Yes, that is my daughter...staring at a lizard of some sorts...

Enjoy Goomba Maddie!  You are lucky he was there to shield you from the sun and hold you while you fussed!
The wheels came off as we approached nap time...ever I was unable to contain my sleepiness and my poor driving skills got the best of me...Goomba was kind enough to join us, but unfortunately got one smart toe on his way out...yes, my fault...my license to drive the stroller has since been revoked...
Next time we'll have to hit the pumpkin event!!!  It looked rather cool!!!
