Lately it has been a battle of the wits to get Riley to take a nap...This week was particularly challenging on some days-- After an extended period of refusing a nap, there was silence...sweet victory for Mom...when it came time to wake her up, this is what I found...

Davis Family Farm
The Davis Farmland is a gem found in the hills of Massachusetts! I couldn't believe I had not heard of this place or had visited it in the past 15 years that I have lived in the Boston area...A petting zoo, water/splash area, and a corn maze for the fall! Perfect!!! A GREAT place to bring the kiddos to spend a morning of exploration!
As with many at the Davis park, we had a caravan of strollers and wagons-- let's load up ladies!
Off to explore the first animals-- Riley had to stop and visit these little guys first...
They were just the perfect size!
And now Nutmeg-- I love my daughter-- feeding animals, no problem-- having one knock you over, no worries, she still had her 2 handfuls of food! It was truly awesome-- I love these baby cows, they are too cute for words! Careful Jason, one of these would be perfect in our back yard!
She even has the proper hand technique! Maybe from a little too much of Mom saying, "remember, flat hand or else they will eat your fingers too!!!"

Ah, geese...not one of Mom, or Riley's favorite!
Miss Megan putting in her two sense on the geese too.... Miss Jamie sharing her love of animals with the girls.
If I could only have captured the gasp from Riley when she saw the piggies...priceless! Ah...Piggies!!!
Four blondes and a brunette?
For some reason I love this shot-- they are all enthralled with the piggies and could careless who is standing there with them!
Riley is not bashful-- she'll join any group if you are not careful-- she will sneak right up to get a closer look...it reminds me of a scary story my Mom shared of me when I was young...I can understand her fear!!!
And now off to the splash park! A great place to cool down and run around in a bunch of fountains-- totally a great place!
And Little Miss Madison-- as always she was a perfect angel on the trip-- but unfortunately she was stuck in her stroller for the entire trip. Next year babe!!!

A few with the cousins...
July brought with it they joy of seeing my sister and her kiddos-- as they live in Germany it has been almost a year since we have seen them (TOO LONG!!)
It is great to see all of them playing together and enjoying the company of Oma Sue and Goomba.
I LOVE those eyes Shaneo!

These two look like they could be related! Love that blonde hair and pig tails Miss Megan!

They both LOVE to read books!
And a special treat to have a book read to them by a great officer of North Attleboro! What a great night!
