Ah...the sound of an industrial sander is music to my ears...even if it is at 8:15am on a Sunday morning....
The guy who ran the machine said we had a lot of "character" in the old wood floors...I guess that is the nice way of saying they ain't perfect! I don't care, it is better than carpet and paying 3x as much for new wood floors!
And the whales are just about done....what do you think? I've been told I now need names for them...need to do some finishing touches on the little one...hours of nerve racking painting--it would have been much easier had I been allowed to have a glass of wine throughout the process...
