32 Weeks!!!

So it is finally decided...here are the walls:

And now the fun part...the beginning of trying to paint whales on the wall...not too bad with the stenciling, thank goodness for being able to trace!!! Now I am just worried about adding the color...

Next week the floor guy comes and we can move in some furniture!!!

Ok--I need your vote...

Now remember....we are going for an under-water theme here...so envision fish and whales swimming around...

Which type of wall do you like better? The sponge painting.....

Or the straight lines????

Surprise!

What a surprise!!! On Thursday my wonderful co-workers threw us a surprise shower! The cake was absolutely huge....and 3 different flavors!

And no...we did not plan the colors...What do you think, a girl for me a boy for Tara?

What a surprise!!! I loved the duck---it will be great in Grandma's pool (both the one in CT and in MA!) It really does quack! They love the theme of ocean...I already have swimmies---this kid is going to be swimming ASAP!

Child Birth classes...hum...are we really ready for this?

My absolute favorite picture....Jason finally gets to feel the weight of pregnancy. They even had a band to restrict breathing AND an additional weight to add pressure to the bladder area! This was my favorite part of the class---Jason winced every time they showed blood on the videos!!

He had to behave and keep his hands off the boobs...

Room stage 3...the first coat... a light blue, supposedly the top layer of the ocean theme...

And on this wall will be the whale Stacie is supposed to draw...we'll see how that comes out...

The Room Has Begun!!!

After tearing down the horse hair plaster, the boys then re-wired everything, put in attic access and storage for all of our 'junk'....

Late January, and not only are we hit with snow, but we've also begun the renovations...bring it on!!!

Maggie wasn't thrilled with this shot, but she seems to be able to put up with Jason's antics...

A little bit of roof racking going on---these New Englanders are CRAZY!

The celebration of blue board up---the boys part is just about done!
